Leek burger
The excellent leek burgers will surprise you with their taste, so you won't even notice that you don't eat a meat burger. Of course, they also go well as a main dish with mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- leek - 1 middle size (about 400 g),
- red lentils - 80 g
- bun - 1 (small baguette)
- oil - for frying
- black pepper - ground
- eggs - 2
- curry powder - 2 teaspoons
Instructions
- Cleanse the leek and cut into smaller pieces. Pour lentils into a pot with boiling water and boil until soft. Drain and let dry. Chop the bun to make breadcrumbs (use a cutting machine).
- Heat oil in a deeper pan, add leek, season with salt and black pepper and roast until soft. Then remove and pour into a bowl, add lentils, whisked eggs, curry powder and stir, then add the breadcrumbs and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the prepared mixture into 12 parts and make a burger from each. Fry in a pan with heated oil for about 4 minutes on each side. Serve with for example potato puree.
