Marble sponge cake - a simple recipe for all occasions
Marble sponge cake is a pastry with a light-dark pattern that is easy to prepare and must be so light that it melts in your mouth when you bite into it.
Ingredients
- icing sugar - 350 g
- butter - 250 g
- eggs - 6
- plain flour - 500 g
- baking powder - 1 package
- milk - 1/4 liter
- lemon juice
- cocoa powder - 40 g
Instructions
- Whip butter with sugar and egg yolks into the foam, add lemon juice, flour with baking powder and milk.
- Add firm foam from egg whites at the end. Divide into the two parts.
- Add cocoa powder into one. Keep adding into the prepared baking form one by one and bake for about an hour.
